Goals for this blog:
I want to find as many ways I can to make extra money for Christmas and for some purchases I have in mind for early next year, and I will use this blog to track my earnings and how close I am to my goals.
I have 3 major purchases in mind.
Christmas gifts (approx $600 is needed)
hospital lottery ticket purchases for 2014
groceries for Jan-June 2014
I have much much bigger bills that need money and attention, but, I feel that I need to start somewhere and these goals can help me to build a foundation to accomplishing other goals for 2014. (let's see how many more times I can use the word goals before this post is done!)

$100 for as yet undecided lottery
My other goals are a bit more ambitious:
I want to get $400 from a combination of "free" money, gift cards, and coupons and see if I can get groceries for 6 months (January 2014-June 2014). I am looking for frozen foods, bulk items, sales, overages, coupons, points, and basically, some smart shopping to see if I can accomplish this goal. I will not be buying fresh fruits and veggies with this, and anything that has a short shelf life. I will discuss this goal more later.
